I upgraded to the new version of the free pageblaster. Since then, I can no longer download from a repository module. Everything that gets downloaded is 0kB in size, no matter what it was before. If I FTP a copy of the file back down and open it, it is fine, but if I use the download link on the repository it is empty! What have I got set wrong?

Hi Aaron,
Could you attach your Snapsis.PageBlaster.config file from the root of your site?
Rename it to .txt first so it will upload.

Hi Aaron,

Please try the attached config file. I made a small change in the DesktopModules exclusion.

Thanks, I tried it, no luck. I wonder what else I am missing?

Ok, it looks like I'll need to get the repository installed and debug it. Maybe the new version is acting differently with it.

It may help to exclude the specific page it is on by TabId

< path pattern=" tabid(/|=)(161|162|163)(?!\d)" excludeFrom="All" />

You can use a path like that above and specify your own tabid's that need to be excluded (the above example is excluding 161,162, & 163

I tired adding the line above for my tab id's, but no luck. Not sure what has happened to the repository module! Let me know if you find anything. I can upload files, but anytime you download them (Open or Save), they are 0kb in size and have no content.

Please try the attached DLL to see if it solves the problem.

I did something different that may affect how this module works with other httpModules so please let me know how it works out after testing throughout your site.

That crashed the site, and now I can't get it back!

You can edit your web.config and remove the PageBlaster line.

The DLL is working here on my site so I'm not sure what went wrong.

What version of DNN are you running? I compiled that DLL for ASP.Net 2.x so that may be the problem.

John, I FTP'd the dll over, and the site crashed. I tried taking the PB line out of the web.config file and that didn't do anything for me. What do I do now???? We just released this site yesterday and I am already down!

We are using DNN 4.7, and have ASP 3.5 on the server.

Are you getting any errors?

You can try removing the DLL from your /bin folder, but it shouldn't be in use if you have removed it from web.config

You can contact me through Chat at http://support.snapsis.com if you want.

I can't figure out how to chat on here. The guy at crystaltech can't find it either. This is BAD!

Sorry, for some reason the link I put it was going back to the Snapsis home page.

You can go to http://support.snapsis.com for the live chat.
