I am using DNN 4.04. Why do these errors only occur when I am running Page Blaster. This link is part of the Links module which creates the link path for you.

You should really upgrade to DNN 4.4.1

Ok, I see how/why the links module would put the tabid on there so that if you open in a new window you won't get logged out.
I just tried this scenario with an external link opening in a new window and didn't get the error in my event log though.

Are there any errors inside the DNN Log Viewer?

I don't know why it only happens when you are using PageBlaster, but you can try putting PageBlaster as the second in the HttpModules list (after UrlRewrite) and see if that helps. Make sure you go and click on that link to see the error right away.

Another test would be to disable PageBlaster, then go and click on that link. It may be that the link wasn't clicked on while PageBlaster was disabled earlier, so I'm just trying to make sure it is explicitly tested.

I am going to upgrade to 4.4.1 tomorrow morning. I have to warn all our clients. The DNN log viewer does not log any of the errors. It just goes directly into the Windows Event log. Since making the change suggested by Mariette the amount of errors has drastically reduced. But I still get them. I am going to run it for today and see if it crashes or stops the app pool and I will let you know tomorrow how it is going.

Thanks for the help.

Once you have upgraded to 4.4.1 they will be gone.

I noticed you have in your install the DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.dll when updating to 4.4.1 to I need to return to this dll or use the one DNN has?

Thanks for informing me of that. I didn't realize I had dropped that in the install zip.

In order to acheive Xhtml strict validation you will need an updated Html module, but I didn't mean to distribute it that way.

You can delete it out of your install, but it is not listed as a file in the dnn manifest so it doesn't get used, and if it did it would have caused an error because it also needs the associated HtmlModule.ascx file.
